GREETINGS... This is our Fantazmic site ... It will be a place where we can put up pictures of our group, some of the placed pups and just a variety of afghan topics . Diet, care and we hope to add subjects .Since it is a rather large group we are often busy with care and feeding so this was created to let people know what pups were available . Also to keep our past clients updated on our life here and the activities of other fantazmic pups out in the world. So far a few champs, I know one is JC in lure and we had a few that are therapy affies. Most are EXPERTS on keeping control of the living room couch and at least one bed in their house. I will post movies our afghans find interesting and they do prefer a few. I hope to update our older afs that reside here and the middle age crew we have raised as our own ..I occasionally find a young pup that is so special we cant part with so we end up with our own group being a variety of ages. This home is the result of 37 yrs of loving afghans and wanting a place where they could run, play and enjoy being in and out of the house. We looked a long time but when we found this it just seemed like the perfect place. The house had ceramic floors, a tub in the down stairs bedroom, now our nursery and heat room with private pen. I was able to snag a large area upstairs as my office and all purpose room where my affies can come and hang out with me., we put in play equipment , trampoline, tents, slides , climber, tower, pools and anything we can think of to provide entertainment...sort of an affie club med.. This is our third year out here and we moved the affies with great anticipation... only to find i was hit with an illness that slowed me down many months. Now i have as a result a group of younger affies that did not get placed. Anyone wanting an older pup please let us know. I prefer picking them up at that age but its possible to work out other ideas...loving homes are number one priority..We have younger babies & pics will be posted.. Our prices are fair and all funds go to their care. Because this is different you get a few making cracks its a mill and my answer is that this is the ONLY afghan home that feeds meat, real foods, no corn chow, provides play equipment and entertainment , no kennel or cages( except for heats) and I do not know any mill that does that,.. If you try to do things a different way, not all can accept that.. We have lovely AKC champ lines that have won shows. Our Mufasa has top affies like Elmo, Taco and Pepsi on his pedigree and his mom is Tarina lines. , Vanella Sky is from the Kabik lines with Pepsi showing up twice and i have my Australian? US pedigrees from Khandhu kennels, also Canadian champ lines. Desperados desire and our Sugar were both champ sired. Others here are from these breedings and i kept only the best. I have rare blues, sables, cream whites , dominos and most traditional colors. 5 generations real food fed creates health good muscle and bone..Our older afghans i hope will never be moved. This was set up as a forever afghan home first and our off spring are a result of that, not the reason for it. I had breeding goals i intended to accomplish and once i am finished the home will continue for those who live here with us. I enjoy this and being able to watch from my desk or washing dishes the afghans playing in this lovely land scape is something I had always wanted to see happen. .. We still have many projects to accomplish but the main idea of a loving afghan home is here where they can enjoy life and eat really good food. Its fenced so they have the ability to move freely around. With 6 acres there is lots of room. with 6 acres i am hoping we find other animal people that would like to live out here since there is room for a few more. Let us know if you are interested in life in New mexico mountains.? ..I love this afghan home and i have sacrificed many things to accomplish these goals. We know each affie and they are so individual that their needs are all different. I have yet to find anyone who I feel comfortable to leave this in their hands . These are the KING OF DOGS that go back over 2000 yrs and I had hoped to grow old with a group after my kids were grown. ..Its a great place and never boring, but lots of work daily to keep this all running . I was glad I graduated from a medical program prior to my 4 years of college because that training now helps in their care as well. We hope you will stop by often and if you have room in your hearts for a afghan hound you will think of our Fantazmic Hounds, raised with love, and the best care who make wonderful companions. I think those in homes do really well coming from here. They are use to life in a home and all that goes on. Plus they have time to learn to be afs from other affies. THESE ARE THE HOUNDS OF FANTAZMIC AND MY HEART...after being released from the hospital and major surgery i will be back up and going soon ...keep in touch
